BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, DEAFHEAVEN, HIGH ON FIRE, TRIVIUM and UNDEROATH are among the "Best Metal Performance" nominees at the 61st annual Grammy Awards, which will be held on on February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will broadcast live on the CBS television network at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. GRETA VAN FLEET's "Black Smoke Rising", GHOST's "Rats" and BRING ME THE HORIZON's "Mantra" were also nominated in the "Best Rock Song" category, while ALICE IN CHAINS' "Rainier Fog", GHOST's "Prequelle" and GRETA VAN FLEET's "From The Fires" were nominated in the "Best Rock Album" category. CHRIS CORNELL's "When Bad Does Good", GRETA VAN FLEET's "Highway Tune" and HALESTORM's "Uncomfortable" were nominated in the "Best Rock Performance" category. The Grammys are voted on by approximately 13,000 Recording Academy members, who are comprised of artists, songwriters, producers and engineers. More than 21,000 recordings were submitted for Grammys consideration this year. For 2019 awards, music must have been released between October 1, 2017 and September 30, 2018 in order to be eligible.
